The Savant Project: A Crossover Episode

I recently became acquainted with the 1990s TV show The Pretender. As of this writing I have not yet watched all four seasons and the two movies, but I love it enough that I have already written a fanfiction. It began as a joke with some friends on Facebook, discussing how we might compose various Star Trek crossover stories. I proposed a Star Trek: The Next Generation/Pretender crossover and, almost without meaning to, promptly began planning how it would work. This story is the result. It takes place between the Pretender second-season episodes "Stolen" and "Red-Rock Jarod" and in the Star Trek year 2367.
